Sauna Aid: Supporting Communities in Crisis

The Sauna Aid* event at the Slomo Sauna KingsX presents a unique opportunity to combine the healing power of sauna and community engagement with a vital cause. Come join us to experience the healing power of sauna while contributing to meaningful support for those affected by the crisis in Ukraine. We encourage the British Sauna Society members to join as our monthly Sauna Meet event. We are also super exciting to announce this is the UK launch of Sauna Sunday** initiative.

*Sauna Aid is a multi-country initiative providing movable saunas and supportive services to people affected by natural and man-made disasters. Over the past third years, the project has made remarkable strides through global collaboration and generosity. In Ukraine, Sauna Aid has placed custom-built saunas in regions deeply affected by the ongoing conflict, including a tent sauna in Kharkiv and a Pixxla container sauna near the Russian border. Additional saunas, donated by organizations like the Therme Group, the Bath House of London, and the Japanese Sauna Association, have been installed in areas such as Staryi Sambir, Kupyansk, and Kherson, offering warmth, relief, and a sense of community to those in need. Sauna Aid also provides essential equipment like Harvia and Narvi stoves for locally built saunas to further expand support.

*Sauna Aid stands as a shining beacon of resilience and innovation, demonstrating how saunas can provide comfort, healing, and connection during crises. Operating under the International Sauna Aid Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3), and the International Sauna Association (ISA), Sauna Aid continues to inspire and support communities worldwide.

**Sauna Sunday: A Cultural Campaign with a Heart. Share the sauna passion for community building and healthier ways of socialising. Get more people to sauna on Sundays.
