Nominations for the Sauna Summit Awards 2025 are open.

It’s that time of year again - we’ve just opened up nominations for this year’s Sauna Summit Awards. Our sponsors from 2024, Harvia, have once again kindly stepped forward to sponsor the awards.

Voting will be open to the public and will close at midday on Monday 5th May.

The shortlist for nominations will then be announced, and the winners revealed at the UK Sauna Summit 2025. Read on below to learn more about the categories.

Best design.

This award takes into account overall aesthetic design, innovation, the sustainability of all materials used in construction, and the positive reaction of clients.

Best urban sauna.

This award takes into account the unique challenges of the built environment, innovation of setting, and the positive reaction of bathers.

Best nature sauna.

This prize is given to the sauna that has best succeeded in capturing an experience of being close to or surrounded by the natural world.

Best waterside sauna.

This award is presented to the sauna that is located in a most beautiful waterside setting; be it sea, river or lake.

Best communal sauna.

This award is presented to the sauna who’s own community of bathers has expressed a strong sense of belonging and friendship through the public vote.

Best health programme.

This award reflects the efforts made by the operator to bring the physical, mental and social health benefits of authentic sauna to a wider array of people.

Best rituals programme.

This award reflects the efforts made by the operator to provide a varied, exciting, and innovative programme of events and sauna experiences.

Best new sauna.

This award is presented to the most exciting new sauna across all categories.

Best Sauna Practioner.

This award is presented to the sauna master or ritual specialist who has succeeded in building a following and respect amongst bathers, expressed through the public vote.
