Organised by the British Sauna Society and Sea Scrub Sauna.

The South East of England is one of the most densely populated parts of the country for authentic sauna, so we’re excited to be holding a sauna meet up for local members on 2nd March.

Sea Scrub Sauna Margate have kindly offered to host us. Their woodfired Lithuanian barrel sauna and UK-first electric Saunum sauna benefit from one of the best sunsets in the whole of the UK. The artist JMW Turner, after whom the nearby Turner Gallery is named, described Margate as “the loveliest skies in all Europe”. The nearby tidal pool is perfect for a sea plunge, or there are also cold freshwater barrels.
